This past week was fairly uneventful; I did not advance my topic research much. For my
research assessment, I reflected on what I learned from one of my interviews: monitoring,
obstetrics, and complications. Other than that, however, I considered last week as one that will
ease the transition into original work progress. I plan to continue interviewing– for a mentor and
information– but I will also be working on my original work concurrently. In the next coming
weeks, I will prepare preliminary research and begin planning a story for the children’s book.
Also last week, I got the chance to update my digital portfolio. I do plan to go back and edit the
website to fit my current image better, but for now, I need to simply remember to upload my
blogs and assessments there. Furthermore, ISM went to our third etiquette meal last week! I
enjoyed getting outside and chatting with my classmates. Outside of ISM, I am trying to look
forward to Halloween, despite the great amount of tests surrounding the 31st. Regardless of the
very cold weather, I will not hesitate to snag some candy around the neighborhood. Who’s to say
a sixteen-year-old cannot trick or treat?
