This past week, I heard back from the neurologist I contacted and found a few more research sources. Unfortunately, I failed to realize the neurologist did not specialize in pediatrics so he was unsure about helping with neurodevelopmental outcomes of early exposure to anesthesia. However, he said he would get back to me after looking into it. Without those sources, I found a few more on my own online and added them to my sources list. I am actively pulling from these sources when working on my final product. The deadline for the final product is rapidly approaching, along with multiple other important dates. As a result of this busy season, I am feeling overwhelmed but I know once I finish I will feel very proud and accomplished. Outside the classroom, this past weekend I celebrated a friend’s birthday. This was a great break and something to look forward to at the end of the week. I had so much fun reliving my childhood at Urban Air and then just hanging out. One thing I look forward to next week is my first campus visit to UT Austin. I finally secured a walking tour spot for our long weekend so I am very excited.
