Original Work

All ISM students create an original work as their semester-mark project. This original work may build up to one's final product or be unrelated. I chose to create a children's story about the use of anesthesia in surgery. This children's story is the perfect blend of foundational knowledge of anesthesia and pediatrics. I had to tailor my vocabulary to fit my audience just as a doctor would do while explaining anesthesia to a young patient. Overall, the goal of the book is to educate and entertain.
