Over the past week, I have been refining my display board and final product idea. At the
start of the week, I brought my display board to school to receive feedback for our upcoming
gallery walk. I was happy to hear many compliments on my board, and now I just have to make a
few adjustments like gluing stuff down better. I will familiarize myself with the board and be
prepared to talk about it during gallery walk, and eventually during showcase. As we get further
into second semester and closer to FPN, we are proposing final product ideas and
communicating with out mentors for inspiration. I am still finalizing an idea and then I will write
up my proposal for the final product. As of now, I know it will be different from my OW but I
am unsure of the direction I want to go. I need to discuss with my mentor for assistance in
finalizing an idea that he can potentially help me execute later. Outside of ISM, I spent a lot of
last week sitting at a table ridden with charcoal pencils, erasers, paper scraps, and more. I was
working hard on my art piece for the VASE competition. The piece turned out well and I was
happy to submit it on Friday for competition in February.
